Between-Cycle Tasks

Keep your timing in mind when coordinating between-cycle tasks. Certain things (like inventory) should not be done until after the distribution window has closed.

Inventory

Most of the time, inventory is handled by the producers themselves, occasionally co-ordinating with staff on things like on-site offerings. But in some cases, you may find yourself doing inventory either for things the food-hub sells themselves or in the case of managed inventory– products the food-hub manages on behalf of a producer. In those cases, you may find yourself needing to add products or update quantities available.

Adding new products can be done in the same way producers do it. You would either do these tasks under the food hub profile or by impersonating the vendor whose inventory you are managing.
